Sunday Stealing - The Trivia About Me Meme

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger and blog named
Astrid Paramita. She states that she stole it at BubbleBoo. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Sunday Stealing: The Trivia About Me Meme

Opening…

Do you get regular massages?

No, I get blissfully extraordinary massages from my husband. He has fingers that pop into my muscles like pistons. Sounds kind of odd...trust me it is mind altering! I also have taught him how to give incredible foot massages. Life is beyond good!

Do you have an answering machine?

I have voice mail on my cell phone, and it is horrible, but I check the missed call list before I even check it. I am notoriously horrible when it comes to checking my messages. I hate it. I think the main issue is because my voice mail goes through every damn message that I didn't delete before it gives me the new one. I am so tired of hearing messages by the time I get close to the new ones, I just end up hanging up. Obviously, I make things worse on myself.

What cuss word do you use the most?

fanabla (spelling it like it sounds)

Are you underweight or overweight?

Fanabla, like this is your business! Why do we have to get into the weight thing? I haven't been underweight since I had my son if you must know. :)

Can you see your veins?

Yes...when I am supremely ticked off.

Favorite…

Soap?

I am fond of any homemade soap or a good glycerin soap. We stayed at a hotel called The Heat in Lake Havasu, and the room had incredible glycerin soap.

Fruit?

Nectarines. Nice and plump and juicy. I like the kind that pretty much swiftly starts running down your hand the moment you break the skin. Firm but sticky! YUM!

Kind of red meat?

Steak. Any kind...cooked well done. I like my meat DEAD.

Fish?

Swordfish steaks are pretty awesome.

Candy bar?

I don't have a favorite candy bar. I guess any dark chocolate will do.

Have You Ever…

Eaten a whole bag of potato chips?

Not in one sitting. However, I may have wanted to though.

Eaten lobster?

I have. I lived in California, Maine, and Rhode Island. I tried it over and over again. I had it boiled, grilled, baked, and chopped up into a roll. I hated it each and every time.

Climbed a mountain?

Yes. We aren't talking any kind of mountain that people fear or anything. In other words, it wasn't an event or anything, but I have climbed a mountain or two. :)

Been skydiving?

No. I had thought it would be pretty awesome when I was in high school, but I never got around to it. Now I am a mom, and though the chances are good I could do it and nothing would happen, I'll pass.

Been water skiing?

Yes. I have to use one ski though, because my feet split up and next thing you know...OW!

Do You…

Wish you could change something about your life?

I don't wish I could change something about my life. It's great really. There are things that could be a benefit, but my life is good. I have no complaints. If I stayed in the house I am in and remained married to my husband and mom to my wonderful son...I will remain blessed and happy.

Like your nose?

Nope. I have a pretty nice nose. :)

Like salt and vinegar chips?

Oh man!!!! I am crazy about them. I don't eat them often because they tear the heck out of my mouth.

Eat salsa?

I have it at least once a week.

Own a boat?

Nope. I don't even own a canoe.

What Is…

A small thing that people let slide but that actually has dire consequences?

Texting while driving!!!! Oh my word I get soooooo aggravated by this!!!!

Your most macho trait?

The way my East Coast accent appears when I get mad.

The longest relationship you’ve ever had?

I'm in it. :)

Your most embarrassing thoughts?

I have them. That is all you need to know. I am certainly not going to post them here or they would no longer be my thoughts.

Your most shameful moment?

Being involved in an abusive relationship for far too long.

This/That…

Bath/Shower?

Shower (I like to make the most of my time. I love soaking in a tub, but it is not the way I chose to daily clean).

Markers/Crayons?

Crayons. They bring me back to childhood. :)

Pens/Pencils?

Pencils. I use pens the most, but I like the way a pencil writes. I have never picked up a pencil and thought that it wrote bad. I can't say the same for pens. Also, pencils have never exploderd in my purse.

Jelly/Cream Cheese?

These are a little too different to pick. If I am having a bagel...cream cheese. If I am having a peanut butter sandwich...jelly. Cream cheese tastes weird with peanut butter, and jelly tastes odd on an onion bagel.

Bagel/Toast?

Bagel. They are much more satisfying unless you can't get a good bagel which can often be the case here in Arizona.

Finish…

My greatest weakness is…

Kittens! Oh my gosh they are soooo cute!

I wish I was…

Thinner and wealthier or on vacation in Hawaii.

Three things I wouldn’t do for a million dollars are...

Murder; violence on another human being or animal; theft.

The oddest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth is…

I can't think of anything so either I really don't care what I put in my mouth and nothing seems odd to me or I am simply not adventurish.

Firsts…

Credit card you had?

A store card. I can't even remember the name.

Loan you got was for?

School tuition.

Paycheck was for how much?

My first paycheck was back in like 1983. I guarantee you that it was not for much, but I certainly do not know what it was for. I have gotten pay checks for *void* back when I was a cocktail waitress in Rhode Island. I often made more money in tips than I did hourly so buy the time the taxes were taken out for my sales, it was all over.

Time you had stitches?

I had stitches in my eye when I was little and had surgery, but they are the kind that absorb so they weren't all creepy. I had staples when I had a C section. Next I want to get paperclips.

Time you went to the hospital for something?

Once at the playground, my son did this weird flip on a jungle gym. His arm went into this weird contortion. I was sure he broke or dislocated something. He was okay though.

Lasts…

List everything you ate in the last 24 hours?

Dinner last night - left over lasagna, popcorn while we watched the movie The Skeptic, a square of chocolate; This morning - a bowl of Special K Blueberry, a bowl of white chicken chili, a square of chocolate, and coffee.

Last thing you used a credit card for?

To rent a movie at Red Box. Actually, I haven't picked it up yet. I will be heading there after I finish this. We are going to watch Moon with Sam Rockwell.

What was your job previous to the one you have now?

I was a cocktail waitress at a casino.

Last thing you celebrated?

My son, Alexander's birthday. We went to Disneyland. It was a blast!

Last time you were at a sports bar?

Too long ago. I use to frequent one in California and even liked one in Rhode Island, but there really isn't one that I like here. I guess Buffalo Wild Wings is okay, but I prefer the homey ones that aren't so chain like.

I adore nectarines. My mom makes a nectarine and blueberry crumble that is out of this world. Happy Sunday!

I'd love to be rich, thin AND in Hawaii! :-) Alas, I will settle for comfortable, chubby and Maryland.

Thanks for popping by Snarkypants. I will check out the menu organizing stuff you wrote about in the previous post - I need help with that!

My dad's Italian and along with what he would call the "Italian Salute" he would utter the words "Ba-fanabla"

ALOT. :-) He only recently told me what it means.
